Fertility, Pregnancy & Menopause

Fertility, Pregnancy and Menopause

From a Traditional Chinese Medical perspective healthy women are pain-free and fertile.  Helping women to fulfill the dream of motherhood or to simply restore their natural vitality gives us the deepest sense purpose and satisfaction.

We can work as a primary care practitioners with fertility patients, or coordinate care in a multi-disciplinary approach using Chinese Medicine along with IVF treatments and other western fertility methodologies.

According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, approximately 3 million couples in the United States are unable to conceive after one year of trying. The diagnosis of infertility is usually given to couples who have been attempting to conceive for six months to one year without success.

We specialize in women’s health, including fertility, hormone function and pregnancy.  We primarily uses acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat:

  • sub-fertility (male & female)
  • PMS
  • PCOS
  • painful menses
  • irregular menses
  • endometriosis
  • fibroids
  • assisted reproductive support (IVF, IUI)
  • breast health & fibrocystic breast disease
  • menopausal symptoms: hot flashes, night sweats, dryness & insomnia.

In China today there are large Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals dedicated to gynecology.  At these hospitals hundreds of patients with conditions ranging from infertility, irregular and painful menses, habitual miscarriages, PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids and menopausal symptoms are successfully treated with custom herbal prescriptions every day. Additionally, these doctors employed both TCM diagnostics with hormone panels, ultrasounds and basil body temperature charts (BBT) to form the most comprehensive analysis and treatment plan. Combining Western and TCM reproductive physiology, pathology, diagnosis and treatment.
