The Lost Art of Bedside Diagnosis: What a Thorough Physical Exam Should Include

  • Discover how much your body reveals before a single lab is run—from posture and gait to ear creases, nail changes, and subtle facial patterns that signal deeper imbalance.
  • Understand why pulse diagnosis, tongue evaluation, and hands-on examination remain powerful tools in both Chinese and integrative medicine—often catching problems earlier than standard testing.
  • Learn how to recognize red flags yourself—from splinter hemorrhages and nail clubbing to orthostatic blood pressure drops—so you can expect more thorough care from your providers.
