Course Overview: 

Regional anatomy review, orthopedic assessment and acupuncture treatment of the core muscles.

The core muscles can be important for stabilization of the spine and pelvis, which can contribute to

health and improved capacity for movement.

In this class students will learn the relevant anatomical structures, common injuries, assessment techniques, including orthopedic testing for resisted range of motion, active range of motion and palpation.

This course includes practice of the assessment and acupuncture techniques, using anatomically significant points including traditional points, trigger points and motor points.
