John Nieters, LAC, DAOM, clinical practice specializing in Women’s health and reproductive medicine, recalcitrant “knotty” diseases, located in central Alameda.
Dr. Nieters began teaching at ACCHS in 1999, and is currently an Associate Professor at both ACCHS and Five Branches University, as well as being a guest lecturer at UC Berkeley and the Acting President of ACCHS. John is a Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics, NCCAOM certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

John is probably best known for hosting the call in radio show, The Balancing Point, on KEST radio. At Zhejiang University in China, John received certification in the First Integrative Diabetes Protocol at Xin Hua Hospital in Hangzhou. He is excited about bringing this exciting new protocol home to the US.

Learn how to use acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat: sub-fertility, PMS, painful periods, endometriosis, fibroids and menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes, night sweats, dryness and insomnia. Learn how to work as a primary care practitioner with fertility patients, or coordinate care in a multi-disciplinary approach using Chinese Medicine along with IVF treatments and other western fertility methodologies.
